There has been debate for quite some time now on how we measure the well-being of societies. Should it only be based on financial wealth or are other things equally important?
Your Better Life Index is a recently unveiled interactive index that allows individuals to compare their lives across 34 countries based on 11 dimensions – housing, income, jobs, community, education, environment, governance, health, life satisfaction, safety, work-life balance. Individuals can not only view the different dimensions but also put their own weight on the 11 dimensions to create their own personalized index based on what they think is most important.

What a fabulous tool! I particularly like that it allows people to set what dimensions are most important to them. We all have different values, after all!
