I’ve spent a lot of this week thinking about the London Leader’s programme, meeting the other leaders and exploring how you make London, or any city, a more sustainable place. I’m sure over the next year I’ll share my thoughts here but in the mean time I thought I would share three pictures I took walking along the river in London after my first meeting at City Hall. I was thinking/looking at the little details in big cities and how it is the little details that really create the feeling and culture of a city. The first is an artist taking advantage of low tide. Second is a miniature forest outside the Tate Modern. Third is a historic house just off the river resisting the city.
